D. H. Scott & Company
is a full-service CPA firm...

...offering services from accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, tax and wealth management. Through our entrepreneurial, results-oriented business approach, we’re able to create substantial value—not just for the clients we serve, but also for our own team.

We truly believe our firm’s future lies in its investments and that’s why we are prepared to make strategic investments in truly exceptional people.

Whether you are just beginning your professional career or are a seasoned professional seeking new opportunities, we offer a wide variety of professional services and work on an array of audit, tax, and consulting engagements that provide our team with opportunities to grow and find the specialty that aligns with their passion. Since our founding, we have dedicated ourselves to maintaining the quality of our work and the health of our client and employee relationships.

Prior to joining D.H. Scott & Company, I worked in the Audit and IT Risk divisions of a Big 4 accounting firm for 9 years in San Francisco and Sydney Australia. As a full-time working mother, I was looking to steer my career to a smaller firm that offered predictable working hours and a short commute, allowing me to maximize time with my family. I love what Redding and Northern California has to offer in terms of outdoor activities and adventures, so I applied with D.H. Scott and Company. My initial interview with the Partners demonstrated the family-oriented mentality of the leadership and that coupled with the opportunity to expand my skill-set to include private company and governmental audits and reviews along with tax preparation and planning sold me on making the move. The people culture, integrity of leadership, and focus on quality are a few of the many things that make this a great place to work.
